US Tech Solutions Cloud/Revenue FP&A Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
Job Description:
This role will be in charge of the Cloud Product revenue month-end close, and quarterly earning analysis.
He/she will play a critical role in understanding and reporting key revenue drivers of GCP products by working closely with Cloud leadership across Go To Market and Product Finance teams.
Top Responsibilities:
Lead the overall GCP Product revenue monthly actual reporting and forecast processes (manage timeline, checklists, partner team communication), partnering with Product Finance Vertical teams, Go to Market teams and Controllership teams.
Develop quarterly revenue insights on GCP product performances to report to Cloud FP&A leadership.
Create and maintain key Product revenue models, data tools, and build analysis to deep dive into product revenue trends to draw insights on GCP consumption, discounting and top line growth.
Articulate risks and opportunities in monthly forecasts to leadership.
Create the overall narrative between the forecasts from Go to Market and Product teams.
Coordinate and drive product revenue reviews with the Cloud FP&A VP and Product Finance Sr. leadership
Mandatory:
Total years’ experience in what industry, discipline or responsibility: 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or a relevant advanced degree.
Strong SQL skills (e.g. Plx, BigQuery) to extract and manipulate data and transform that data into actionable insights
Excellent Data Analysis and Modeling skills in Client Sheet.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and collaborative teamwork skills.
Need to be self-driven and motivated to drive initiatives to the finish line.
Specific Tools or Applications experience (ex. Client Apps, Salesforce CRM, etc) SQL, Client Sheet modelling.
Desired:
- Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry recommended.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
