US Tech Solutions HR Generalist II in Culver City, California

Job Description:

  • Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.

  • Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.

  • Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily schedule & OT expectations

  • Typical task breakdown and rhythm

  • Interaction level with team

  • Work environment description

  • Chance for flex hours or remote

Experience:

  • Amazon HR experience required –

  • Needs to know how to do HR Generalist role duties such as LOA, FMLA, Benefits. Been a part of the COE or benefits team. Post hire HR functions.

  • Supporting corporate teams not Fulfillment centers is a plus.

  • Tech savvy need to be able to pick stuff up quickly – experience with Excel and MS office is required

  • Basics of amazon tools and processes required, and has been through one performance cycle.

  • Strong communication, verbal and written to communicate with clients

Skills:

HR experience

Management experience

Education:

  • bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.

  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
