Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to assist with a Scanning Project.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical box reviews, indexing, and documentation for scanning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical box reviews to ensure all documents are properly organized.

  • Index documents according to established guidelines and procedures using Excel spreadsheets.

  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of the scanning process.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the project is completed accurately and on time.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience (admin assistant who has experience scanning documents, someone in charge of a file room etc)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. -This requirement will ensure that the candidate is physically capable of handling the boxes and documents involved in the scanning project.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with preparing documents for scanning.

Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week in the office.

  • Standard business hours, Monday to Friday.
