US Tech Solutions Marketing Analyst in Oakland, California
The Growth Marketing team is responsible for revenue-generating channels and tactics, including paid search, social, affiliates, CRM, and Sweepstakes. As a Marketing Analyst, you will also assist in analyzing, tracking, and reporting on the client’s Growth Marketing budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing budgets across all channels (paid social, search, affiliates, CRM, etc.)
Analyze marketing spend and performance data to identify opportunities for optimization
Build and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts in collaboration with channel and product marketing teams
Review and approve marketing expense requests and invoices for accuracy
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on budget vs. actual spend for leadership
Identify variances and work with teams to address over/under spends
Continuously improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
Partner with finance to ensure accurate accounting of marketing expenses
Support ad hoc analyses as needed to inform strategic business decisions
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
3+ years of experience in marketing budgeting, analytics, and reporting
Proficiency with Google Sheets
Experience working with Marketing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent stakeholders and projects
Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital marketing a plus
Enthusiastic, can-do attitude that thrives on a high degree of autonomy and embraces clients “Act Like an Owner” mindset
Attention to detail - ability to get into the details, step back and assess if the output makes sense
Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
Education: Bachelor's degree
Certifications & Licenses: Proficiency with Google Sheets
