US Tech Solutions Instructional Designer V in Seattle, Washington
Job Description:
This position serves as an Instructional Designer for the Client Tax department. This person will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining training material for tax employees.
Degrees / Certs and/or Experience Required:
Degree in education, and/or instructional design.
Knowledge of adult learning theories, practices, and principles of human behaviour.
Knowledge on how to generate and edit: images, animations, text, and video.
Ability to work within tight timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision demonstrating organization, time management, and teamwork.
Ability to formulate ideas and communicate them in both written and oral format to a wide range of audiences and situations.
6-8 years of experience creating training material in a corporate environment.
Optional:
Technical knowledge of the one or more of the following tools: Articulate 360, Camtasia, Snagit, GlobalMeet, Broadcast, and/or Cornerstone.
Knowledge of determining the best training tools for delivering the content: GlobalMeet, Broadcast, etc.
Experience creating training material for Tax, Accounting, Finance, etc.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
6-8 years of experience in a progressive training or teaching role; must include experience in assessing needs, creating instructor led training, and on-demand/eLearning training.

Previous corporate setting instructional designer
Learning Specialist – LMS Admin / Cornerstone / Background in backend of LMS Experience
Designer – Experience in Power Point and Articulate 360
6-8 yrs of relevant experience ideal.
