US Tech Solutions Production/Factory Industry Assembler in South San Francisco, California

Job Description:

  • As a Sorter Assembly Technician, you will join a dynamic team of biologists, software engineers, and automation experts dedicated to developing innovative solutions to mitigate the impact of insect- borne diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sorter Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly and maintenance of specialized sorting robots, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Top 3 Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and troubleshoot robot systems, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.

  • Manage and account for small quantities of building materials, ensuring proper inventory levels.

  • Perform maintenance tasks on robots to address mechanical failures and proactively mitigate future risks.

Mandatory:

  • Proven experience in assembly, maintenance, inventory management, and operating equipment.

  • Ability to follow diagrams and work instructions accurately.

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in general machine assembly and proficiency with common hand tools.

  • Competence in data entry for tracking faults and failures.

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify irregularities in component construction.

Desired:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical and electrical components.

  • Proficiency in computer and controller operations, including the ability to operate an automation dashboard.

  • Experience in inventory tracking and management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
